Today, May 20th, marks World AutoImmune Arthritis Day—a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness and shaping the conversation around autoimmune and autoinflammatory arthritis. At RheumaFinder, we are wholeheartedly aligned with AiArthritis’ mission to ensure that those affected have a leading voice in education, awareness, research, and advocacy. RheumaFinder’s help in this cause is obtained via the incidental detection of clinically relevant structural joint lesions which can be indicative for, but not limited to, amongst others, rheumatic conditions.

The stats are staggering: 450 million people worldwide live with these full-body diseases, impacting not just joints but also tissues and organs. Lack of awareness can lead to relationship conflicts, delayed diagnosis, compromised quality of life, and elevated healthcare costs. This is why this event unites thousands of people from over 60 countries to DRIVE awareness and education.

Our role at RheumaFinder goes beyond mere support; we are actively involved in groundbreaking work to improve incidental detection of clinically relevant structural joint lesions, which can help radiologists in their diagnosis. By harnessing the power of AI and data analytics, we strive to offer personalized solutions that enhance patient outcomes. This aligns with the association’s core 3P’s: progress, purpose, and patient-led impact.

Let’s take action together and be the change we wish to see. Join us in supporting World AutoImmune Arthritis Day and help spread awareness for a healthier, more informed world.
