Wim Van Hecke, PhD, is the founder and CEO of icometrix, the world leader in software AI solutions to obtain clinically meaningful data from brain MRI and CT scans. The fully automated icobrain software is FDA/CE cleared and is used in a large number of hospitals worldwide. In addition, icometrix works with the largest pharmaceutical and health tech companies.
Van Hecke is an academic engineer by training with two Masters degrees in applied biomedical engineering and neuroimaging, and a PhD in diffusion MRI analysis. He is the author of more than 200 scientific publications and the editor of a clinical neuroimaging handbook. He’s also a visiting professor at the free university of Brussels.
