Fund for Scientific Research in Rheumatology (FWRO/FRSR)
Prof. Dr. Lennart Jans of RheumaFinder has been named as a recipient from the Fund for Scientific Research in Rheumatology (FWRO/FRSR), managed by the King Baudouin Foundation, for a project conducted in collaboration with the University of Ghent. Prof. Dr. Jans’ project, “Artificial intelligence for early detection of spondyloarthritis in medical imaging: development and validation of novel CT and MRI use cases for clinical practice,” was chosen from projects submitted for consideration in 2022, and will receive 15.000 euro in funding. Prof. Dr. Jans is a founder of RheumaFinder, an AI-powered application that detects rheumatic diseases on a range of radiological imaging modalities.
